Vault keeps private files and folders in an encrypted locker inside Hub — sealed on your PC, not in someone else’s cloud.

Encryption strength: Hub Vault uses AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 at 600,000 rounds. That is strong, modern encryption — the same class trusted by serious password managers and security products worldwide.

This encryption technology was created by master encryption experts and is effectively impossible to break by guessing. There is no back door. If a Vault or decryption password is forgotten, those protected files cannot be recovered — by design.

You are in control: encryption and decryption run entirely on your computer. Your private files are not sent to Hub For PC servers to be locked or unlocked.

Two passwords: a Vault password to open the locker, and an optional decryption password for files you mark as protected.

How to use it

1. Open Vault from the gold menu.
2. First time: create your Vault password and decryption password — write them down somewhere safe.
3. Add folders and drag files in. Right-click for encrypt / decrypt options.
4. Press Instructions for the full steps. Close or Lock when finished — the Vault seals again.
